Irene Perveen also known as Irene Parveen is a Pakistani playback singer from the 1960s, who mainly sung for Pakistani films.〔Irene Parveen.http://cineplot.com/music/irene-parveen/〕 She belonged to a Christian family. Parveen started her career in the film ''Noor-e-Islam'' in 1958. She had famous duets with Masood Rana and Ahmed Rushdi. Her greatest popularity was with her pairing with the singer Ahmed Rushdi. She sang many hit songs for the films, and made much impact in the East Pakistani industry too. She was later the wife of Cecil Samuel, a man from a prominent Peshawari family.
